About Barbara Lee
I am a retired educator with time now to indulge my passion for photography. I began as a black and white photographer in the early 70's, but put away my camera to focus on my career. Now, more than 30 years later, I have the time and resources to immerse myself in the world of fine art photography. The digital revolution has given us the tools which make our work so much more available, and I enjoy using the digital darkroom to bring forward the vision of the scenes which I photograph. My primary focus is on outdoor photography, especially the details of our natural world. I also enjoy photographing architecture and the spaces where the hard edges of our world meet the ever changing landscape in the sky.
Anyone who might be interested in purchasing a fine art print of any of my photos should contact me through the contact button below. The images really pop when they are printed as glicee prints in archival inks on my Epson printer.
I shoot with a Nikon D90. The 18-200 VR lens is my favorite lens in my bag, but I also use a Tamron 2.8 90mm close up lens and a Tonkia 12-24 wide angle.
