One of the best things about this time of year in the Bay Area is that we get clouds! A brief storm passed through last week. I drove down the road to a viewpoint eastward to Mt. Diablo, the highest mountain top in the east bay area. I was hoping to catch the reflected sunset, but was still pretty happy to get some dramatic clouds. I need to watch for the sunsets more carefully and get in position earlier. This vista is only a 7 minute drive from my front door in the Oakland hills.
