Snow Falling on Cedars - Yosemite Valley

Here is another image from my winter, 2008 visit to Yosemite Valley. I have found that it is especially tricky in snowy situations to do an adequate job of recovering the contrast and light that was there when the shot was made, so I have been experimenting with luminosity masks and am finding that it does a very credible job of bringing back the light into the image.

NIKON D80 4 seconds F/27.0 ISO 400 82 mm (35mm equiv.)
