I am back from 4 days in Anza Borrego State Park in Southern California. This was my first visit to this amazing desert which lies northeast of San Diego. The days flew by. I wish I had had more time. It is such a huge area, and largest state pak in the United States, and I needed so much more time (not to mention a 4 wheel drive!) to really explore this beautiful desert. At least now I sort of know my way around, and when I go back next spring for the desert bloom, I will have a working knowledge of where things are AND I will rent a 4 wheel drive so that I can properly explore all the desert washes. I was lucky on this trip to meet a fellow photographer who gave me a ride for one day, what I saw was enough to whet my appetite for much, much more!
