Cerro Torre

Posted by
Barbara Lee (Oakland, United States) on 11 April 2010 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

Cerro Torre was the second famous peak that we photographed on our tour of Patagonia. To make the series of images I will be sharing in the coming days, we rose at 5 in our tents and hiked 45 minutes uphill with headlamps lighting our way to reach the base of Cerro Torre. The sunrise was glorious so our efforts were well rewarded. We stayed in the area for about 3 hours, moving about as the light changed, taking photos from many angles.
