Another View - Redwood Regional Park

Today I took a late morning hike back to see the foxgloves again. Slowing down, paying attention to the little wonders of nature on the trailside, I spotted a group of weed seed heads which had captured the light in the most amazing way. I sat down by the side of the trail and got out my macro lens and extension tubes and played. This is my favorite. And, yes, the foxgloves were not nearly as wonderful as they had been on Sunday. Sometimes, you just can't go back, but no matter - when we stay open to new wonders, look what pops up!

Exactly my thoughts when I saw this image, Barbara. Look at this wonderful capture. The light is so nice, and I like how you juxtaposed the seed head with the prickly stem and leaves!
