Out last night wandering the streets of Oakland - playing my scales. It was later and the shadows were long. I noticed the fun shadows on the walls of people walking by. As I leaned against my parked car, photographing this firey red wall in front of me, the woman on my left who was waiting for her dog to do its business had no idea that it was really HER that was my subject.
The evening autumn light, the red wall, and the long shadow turned this rather boring (and can we say disgusting?) necessity of dog ownership into something entirely new!
