This is beautifully framed Barbara...Cottonwoods have a yellow that is magnificent but I am really glad that you caught these in both stages becasue the variety of colors, combined with those of the walls, makes for a beautifully inviting and almost a cheerful mood here. Even though the walls and tis canyon hold a history that is amazing, the scene here is one of positiviity and hope. Truly, this image brings new life to old views and invites a smile for sure...I love this one! Say hi to Franz for me!

another superb image.....what a fantastic series.....the temple of sinawava was my favorite, but they're all great.....your way of bringing out the abstract shapes and colors while honoring the place and face of zion is wonderful.....i'm going there.....thanks.....and good luck on your travels

@JOEMULLIGAN: Why thank you, Joe. Yes, I like my series! When I come up for air, I am going to do final edits on the best of them and make a printed portfolio. I think that only in a print do the images truly come to life. Thanks for being a fan! You will love Zion! Gotta say, I love your NC mountains, too, and look forward to more time there in the not too distant future!
