Thinking of the Tropics

Oh, dear Aminus pals, I am uninspired. The weather here in Oakland had been cold and gray for days. I cannot remember the last time I saw the sun. My husband and I both have dreadful colds, and I've been sitting the recliner for - it seems - days. Finally went to the doc today to get drugs.

For - we are leaving for Costa Rica on Saturday! And we must shake these damn head colds. We will, we will!

Because - this is what waits for us. Sun, balmy breezes, birds, and an abundance of flowers like this. I photographed this one in my sister's garden in Hawaii last June. Not sure what it is called, but it does brighten my evening and make me know that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

And inspiration for this photographer. I need that creative kick! Bring it on! Two weeks in the sun! YES!

Fantastic colors Barbara - a good prep for Costa Rica..sorry about the colds...a few ,ore days and you will be better I am sure. This is a wonderful image..I real;ly like teh bokeh (I always hated that word...don't know why). Have a safe and joyful trip!
