Another shot from my early morning jaunt up to Glen Ellen, in Sonoma County. Yes, getting up at 5:30 am was so worth it!

Clodagh is so right...I was raised there..but this is absolutely stunning, Barbara. I just love how you have composed his, with the big tree offset and servng as a "protector" to the smaller trees on the right. My favorite tree is the one actually to the left of the big one...with the trunk angling to the right. Altogether, the fag and treatment, combined with the beautiful positioning, adds up to a very compelling and beautiful image. Just beautiful!

You are such an adventurer early in the morning. They say that makes or breaks a landscape photographer which means I'll probably never be one though I was up at 4:30 this morning. I didn't do it on purpose ;) Excellent results for your efforts!
