Eucalyptus Blur

Posted by
Barbara Lee (Oakland, United States) on 21 March 2011 in Abstract & Conceptual and Portfolio.

I love trying these motion blur artsy photos. This was a stand of eucalyptus trees I saw on a walk today. I just love the color in the bark, and the grass is green, green, green due to the tons of rain we have been getting in northern California.

NIKON D90 1/30 second F/18.0 ISO 800 255 mm (35mm equiv.)

I don't think it's blurry at all - Seriously this is really cool - only question is - did you rotate up or rotate down? Very beautiful tones, Barbara!

A wonderful way to see the beauty of the eucalyptus...this fascinating tree that, in No. California, is considered the weed of the forest. I love the movement that mimics the variegated stripes of bark in the tree itself. And oh, that anchors the shot. Lovely !!
