Our first stop on our RV trip last week was at Nevada's Valley of Fire State Park, just outside of Las Vegas. What a magical sandstone wonderland it is! One of my favorite locations in the park was the pink canyon, a small canyon just off the road. I made it there just at dawn, when the soft morning light made the colors glow. I loved the patterns in this photo. It sort of reminds me of a butterfly. I would love to go back and spend a few days in this canyon, just slowly discovering its magical details.
