My husband and I celebrated Mother's Day by spending the day in the Sunol Wilderness, only a 50 minute drive from home. It felt fitting, since both of our mothers are gone, to spend the day with Mother Earth, the main one who nurtures us all. She rewarded our remembrance with a day of amazing clouds, brilliant sun, green, green hills, and lots of wildflowers. We got in a terrific 7 miler and came home invigorated and tired.
This is an iPhone capture. We will see what my big Nikon glass did when I get a chance to work on the raw images. I am pretty impressed with this! Dynamic Light and Photogene helped bring this to life, but gotta say, the light was all Mother Nature's doing, the software just boosted it a little bit.
