At the farmer's market today, there were bushels and bushels of protea for sale. They are just the most lucsious flowers that I know of on this whole earth. Native to South Africa, they flourish on the northern California coast. The vendor told me that his father has a 22 acre farm of them growing north of Bodega Bay. I would love to tour that farm!!! I brought home a small bouquet, but my iPhone really enjoyed the visual feast!

This is a grand iPhone shot. Love the way you have just filled up the whole frame with this juicy color and line and shape. I agree, those are scrumptious flowers.
Going back through your posts I see and applaud your use of Nik Plug-Ins. You are using them to great effect. I am just trying them out, too, and was surprised to see that you used the Silver Efex framing effects with the color images. I don't know how to do that yet !! So much to learn, so little time. :-)

@DULCIE: I learned how to do that from Johnforjack. I do all of my Nik adjustments on the image as a smart object to save file size. When I am done, I flatten the image and then go to silver efex and choose my border. This will add a new layer in your layer pallet. When you are done, just change the blending mode of this layer to luminosity and voila, you have your color image with a frame!
