What can I say? I just love these blooms! I've marked my calendar to return to the market when he comes back in two weeks, but this time I am going to bring my DSLR and a macro lens.

Just catching up on your series! These are really beautiful! I love all the little delicate details, and also the graceful look of the outer leaves.

HI Barbara - These still look good enough to eat! The petals and leaves all look so turgid and the colors are very edible looking ... I was only half-joking earlier...The perspective you composedhere is magnificent! This is the best iPhonography-"ograph" of a plant I have ever seen!....your images make me feel so inept that I should hate you, but I can't... you're too dang nice and way too good.... I need your guidance and cherish your friendship so there ya go! Barbara thank you so very much fro your wonderful comment on my blog yesterday - that is really nice of you and I sincerely appreciate it...This image is sincerely appreciated too - seriously it is an awesome job, my friend. Tomorrow is my Barbara's birthday so you will see her tomorrow, June 1. All the best to the both of you!!

@DULCIE: Thanks so much! There have not been too many poppies around this year - I was lucky to find this nice arrangement in nature!
