Are these trees the result of a fire? Love the little creek flowing through the image.

@Barbara Kile: Well, remember that Yellowstone had the great fire in 1988 that took out thousands of acres of trees. But most of the trees you see in these photos are dead because of the sulphur springs that have overtaken them. Yellowstone is a volcanic crater, a living, breathing one, which constantly changes its landscape. It is a wondrous place which I think everyone should see in the winter. After about 3 days there, a deep sense of inner well being just seeped into my bones.
